Chaga is an unusual mushroom that has been used in traditional medicine for 4,000 years. Chaga is described in Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing as a fungus that supports the functioning of the liver, digestive and circulatory systems.

It has the ability to soothe the body and spirit, and is also used for a variety of gastrointestinal problems. It is used to support the treatment of gastritis, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. This fungus is also used in infectious diseases because it helps stimulate the immune system to fight viruses and bacteria.

The inhabitants of Siberia have been making decoctions from it for a long time and used it in the treatment of cancer, and they call the mushroom "God's Gift". They believe that the Chaga infusion improves mood and has anti-inflammatory effects and heals stomach ailments.

Chaga also helps heal and protect the mucosa in both treating gastritis and ulcers. It is recommended for perimenopausal women because it helps nourish the blood and body fluids - it's good to combine it with Reishi.

The combination of Chaga and Reishi also supports people suffering from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

Chaga with 50% polysaccharides and a guaranteed minimum content of 20% beta-1.3/1.6 D-glucans is the Chaga extract with the highest concentration of mushroom beta-glucans on the market. Beta-glucans are the main active substances of the vital mushrooms.

A bit of history...

Chaga is a mushroom whose healing properties have been used in Russian and Traditional Chinese Medicine for many centuries. It has the ability to soothe the body and spirit, and is also used in a variety of gastrointestinal problems. Inhabitants of Siberia call it "God's Gift" and have been cooking it for a long time and using it in the treatment of cancer. Chaga infusion is believed to improve well-being and to have anti-inflammatory effects and heal stomach ailments. Chaga parasitizes mainly on deciduous trees. The most important active substance in Chaga is betulinic acid, which the fungus sucks from the birch. Research has been conducted on this substance since the 1990s because of its anti-cancer and anti-viral properties.
