ZYTH Single-Needle Lancet Applicator

ZYTH single-needle lancet applicator is not only a device for blood sampling, but also a tool for bloodletting therapy and wet cupping (Hijama). Using a sterile lancet, the device can precisely bleed an acupuncture point.

The applicator has a ring for regulating the depth of needling.

How to use the lancet applicator

1. Read precautions, and disinfect the tip of the applicator and the skin before use.
2. Remove the cap of the applicator.
3. Assemble the applicator with a lancet by firmly plugging the handle of the lancet into the applicator.
4. Remove the protective cap of the lancet by gently twisting it. 
5. Put the cap of the applicator back on the applicator.
6. Place the applicator on a selected acupuncture point, holding it perpendicular to the skin.
7. Press the button on the top of the applicator.
8. Gently remove the lancet from the skin.
9. Remove the cap of the applicator, and put the used lancet in a medical waste container. 
10. Clean and disinfect the applicator.

Cleaning and maintenance of the lancet applicator

• Avoid contamination with blood or body fluid.
• To disinfect the cap of the applicator, immerse it in disinfectant for the time recommended on the label.
• The body of the applicator should be cleaned with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol with a minimum concentration of 75%.
• Store the applicator in a dry and cool place.

• Use the applicator only with a disposable lancet.
• Disinfect the tip of the applicator before and after each use.
