Product description

Moxibustion roller made of wood and brass, equipped with a jade container for moxa. Moxibustion roller is used to heat and massage areas of the body with moxa burning inside in moxatherapy (thermopuncture) treatments. The jade tip is designed to gently massage the body with a hot stone, improving circulation and draining the lymph system during moxibustion treatments.

How to use moxibustion roller?

Burning moxa should be placed inside the tool. Moxa will warm the roller up witch then will transmit the heat outside.

Treatments with a use of the roller should last 5 to 15 minutes.

Sizes:

  • Length: 16,5 cm

  • Handle diameter: 25 mm

  • Head diameter: 38 mm.

When is Moxatherapy applied?

Moxatherapy, also known as moxibustion or thermopuncture, is a traditional Chinese medicine procedure that involves heating acupuncture points with the help of burning moxa. Heating the points in a specific way is designed to stimulate the flow of Qi vital energy in the meridians: unblocking its stagnation, dispersing excesses or harmonizing disturbances. Moxatherapy is sometimes used as a supplement for acupuncture, but it can also be successfully used separately.
