Effects of Clary Sage Essential Oil

Clary sage essential oil uplifts the mood and alleviates stress. It has a very positive impact on emotions, bringing a sense of relaxation and reducing blood pressure. Additionally, clary sage oil can complement the treatment of slow-healing wounds and injuries due to its certain antibacterial properties. Sage oil, owing to the presence of chemical compounds from the group of phytoestrogens, alleviates some menopause symptoms, such as hot flashes. Furthermore, clary sage essential oil can reduce the intensity of menstrual cramps.

Using Essential Oils

The essential oil is suitable for inhalation. Using oil warmers is not recommended, but it works well in nebulizers or diffusers (5-10 drops). The oil can be used in a relaxing bath (do not directly add the oil to the water; instead, mix 5-10 drops of essential oil with 15 ml of carrier oil). The oil can be used for massage (do not apply the oil directly to the skin; instead, mix 2-6 drops of essential oil with 15 ml of carrier oil).
