Clear or light yellow essential oil with a refreshing herbal, slightly anise scent. Tarragon in traditional medicine of Asian countries, incl. Iran, Pakistan and India has been present for centuries, especially in the treatment of digestive system problems, because it is rich in anti-inflammatory and analgesic substances. In Poland, it is known mainly as an aromatic spice that supports digestion and improves appetite.
Due to the different growth conditions, the content of the main active substances responsible for its action may vary from 40% to 85%. The essential oil available in our offer has the content of estragole at the level of approx. 55%. It is the ingredient responsible for the sweet and spicy aroma with a slightly cooling effect.
According to traditional Chinese medicine, essential oils were used in periods of exposure to colds, runny nose or flu, i.e. at the turn of winter and autumn, as well as in the case of migraine headaches, sinus rhinitis and to stimulate energy.

Tarragon oil has an antimicrobial effect. Modern research proves that the active ingredients of the plant have antibacterial properties and eliminate the most popular bacteria that cause problems in the digestive system. Therefore, this is the main activity of the oil. Abdominal massage with the addition of tarragon oil will bring relief during digestive problems because it has a diastolic effect and supports digestion. Therefore, it can be used during constipation, indigestion, flatulence and related problems. Rubbing the oil into aching muscles or joints (also in the case of rheumatism) has anti-inflammatory properties and helps to reduce swelling and pain. The addition of the oil will perfectly complement warm compresses.
In skin care, especially acne-prone skin, the oil should be applied to skin lesions or added to everyday cosmetics. It cleans the skin well and has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Therefore, it is also worth using it in the care of oily skin.
