Needles with copper handles
Chinese-style copper handles needles are a less common type of acupuncture needles that are characterized by a closed flow of Qi energy through the needle. They are applied in specific acupuncture techniques. Copper needles are very often used in electro-acupuncture - copper is a very good conductor for electricity, therefore the needles are perfect for this kind of treatments.
Safety & hygiene
Acupuncture needles are sterile, hermetically sealed and intended for single use only. The needles are ultrasonically cleaned to remove all traces of grease and microscopic raids. They are then sterilized with ethylene oxide. The full automation of the packaging process avoids potential contamination. Acupuncture needles are not lubricated.

When to apply acupuncture needles?
Acupuncture needles are used in traditional acupuncture therapy. It is most often applied in the case of headaches and muscle pains, diseases of the heart and circulatory system such as circulatory problems, varicose veins, atherosclerosis or hypertension, in conditions of the locomotor system such as discopathy or painful shoulder syndrome, in diseases of the nervous system - nerve paralysis, paresis and trigeminal neuritis. Acupuncture can also be applied in the case of ailments of the ears, throat, nose, eyes, chronic sinusitis, sciatica, radices, and to treat diseases of internal organs (liver, stomach, intestines, duodenum and lungs). Acupuncture therapy is sometimes also used to treat addictions, neuroses, depression or anxiety.
How to use acupuncture needles?
Acupuncture needles are used to puncture specific acupuncture points located along the meridians (energy lines), thanks to which they regulate the flow of qi energy and restore its balance in the body. The puncture depth depends on the particular acupuncture point, but usually the needle should be just below the skin surface.
