When is Taoist needle applied?
Taoist acupressure needles are used for acupressure treatments. They are the alternative for acupuncture that uses sharp needles.
How does it work?
A Taoist needle is used to press selected acupuncture points (the same points as in classic acupuncture). The Taoist needle has a blunt tips which does not pierce the skin, but only stimulate acupuncture points and meridians with precise, point pressure.
The two tips allow for a perfect massage but also for the location of appropriate acupuncture points using the diagnostic tip.
