Acupuncture needles by Tony are made from high-quality tempered steel and feature a Chinese-style copper handle with a loop. The needles are individually packed in a blister with a guide tube and secured with a plastic insert. Each package contains 100 needles.
Needles with Chinese-style copper handles are a less common variety of acupuncture needles characterized by closed Qi energy flow through the needle. Copper-handled needles are used in specific acupuncture techniques and are often utilized in electro-acupuncture due to copper's excellent conductivity of electric current.
The guide tube is a plastic guiding tube that facilitates placing the needle in the chosen point while preventing bending. This solution is also perfect for beginner therapists as it allows for controlled insertion.
Acupuncture needles are sterile, hermetically packed, and intended for single use. They are ultrasonically cleaned to remove any traces of oil and microscopic residues. The needles are then sterilized with ethylene oxide. Fully automated packaging ensures the absence of potential contamination.
Acupuncture needles are available in the following dimensions (diameter x length):
Acupuncture needles are used in acupuncture treatments for conditions such as headaches, muscle pain, heart and circulatory diseases (circulatory disorders, varicose veins, atherosclerosis, hypertension), musculoskeletal disorders, and nervous system diseases. Acupuncture can also be used for ear, throat, nose, and eye conditions, chronic sinusitis, sciatica, and root pain, as well as treating internal organ diseases (liver, stomach, intestines, duodenum, or lungs). Additionally, acupuncture is used for treating addictions, neuroses, depression, or anxiety states.
Acupuncture needles are inserted into selected acupuncture points along the meridians (energy lines) to regulate the flow of qi energy and restore its balance in the body.
