Product description

Brass container for Moxatherapy with a use of mini moxa rolls smoke or smokeless.

Inside the box there is a stand for mini moxa rolls (it is worth to put a slice of ginger, onion or garlic into a special spring, which will enhance the effect of the treatment). After the moxa is lit, the box is closed, the correct positioning of the holes on the lid is set, and it is put into a cloth case cover. Next it is placed on appropriate area of the body. By turning the lid of the box, you can set the oxygen supply, and thus the speed and intensity of moxa combusting. The comfortable cover helps the box to stand stable at any point and protects the body from a burn. Please, be cautious when applying the treatment, as moxa can reach high temperatures.

The box is placed in a special case cover (not included with this product) that can be applied on any point on the patient's body.

When is Moxatherapy applied?

Moxatherapy, also known as moxibustion or thermopuncture, is a traditional Chinese medicine procedure that involves heating acupuncture points with the help of burning moxa. Heating the points in a specific way is designed to stimulate the flow of Qi vital energy in the meridians: unblocking its stagnation, dispersing excesses or harmonizing disturbances. Moxatherapy is sometimes used as a supplement for acupuncture, but it can also be successfully used separately.
