Product description

The rolling tiger warmer is made of brass. It is made for heating and massaging small areas of the body with the use of moxa burning inside during moxotherapy (thermopuncture) treatments.

The rolling tiger can be applied with moxa sticks, smokeless moxa or moxa roll.

The set includes a package of 7 mm smoke moxa suitable for the tool.

How to apply the Rolling Tiger Warmer?

Smoking Moxa is placed inside the rolling tiger, the amount of it can be adjusted by a spring built into the handle. The moxa heats the device which radiates heat to the outside through a perforated head. Roller treatments should last about 5 to 15 minutes. The rolling tiger warmer is mainly used for treatments for hands and feet.

When is Moxatherapy applied?

Moxatherapy, also known as moxibustion or thermopuncture, is a traditional Chinese medicine procedure that involves heating acupuncture points with the help of burning moxa. Heating the points in a specific way is designed to stimulate the flow of Qi vital energy in the meridians: unblocking its stagnation, dispersing excesses or harmonizing disturbances. Moxatherapy is sometimes used as a supplement to acupuncture, but it can also be successfully used separately.
