Effects of Oregano Essential Oil

Oregano herb essential oil supports in cases of colds, sinusitis, and bronchitis. Active compounds in the oil aid in facilitating expectoration and stimulate the immune system. Oregano oil exhibits antiseptic properties, making it recommended for disinfecting spaces during illness. When used in massage, it alleviates muscle and joint pain and eases digestive discomfort. Inhaling oregano oil aids in cases of fatigue, especially mental fatigue. It clarifies the mind, relaxes, and soothes emotions, which is helpful when gathering thoughts is necessary.

Using Essential Oils

The essential oil is suitable for inhalation. Using oil warmers is not recommended, but it works well in nebulizers or diffusers (5-10 drops). The oil can be used in a relaxing bath (do not directly add the oil to the water; instead, mix 5-10 drops of essential oil with 15 ml of carrier oil). The oil can be used for massage (do not apply the oil directly to the skin; instead, mix 2-6 drops of essential oil with 15 ml of carrier oil).
