Gua Sha Plate in the shape of a shell is designed for cosmetic facial massage and therapeutic body massage. It is available in three materials: dumortierite, quartz, amethyst.
The plate has a length of 7 cm and a width of 4.5 cm. Due to manual stone processing, some specimens may slightly differ in dimensions by approximately 0.5 cm.
Gua Sha is a special form of traditional Chinese therapeutic massage that involves scraping the skin with hard plates or horns until it causes redness or bruising. Gua Sha massage helps expand blood vessels, eliminate clots, relax muscles, reduce or eliminate swelling, and warm the body while stimulating the immune system.
Gua Sha supports blood and lymph circulation in the body and removes toxic compounds. Gua Sha massage is also used for muscle and joint pain, tension, stiffness, chills, fever, and in combating overweight and obesity, addictions, migraines, and dizziness, as well as chronic fatigue. Gua Sha, by stimulating the immune system, effectively helps treat various infections.
Before starting the Gua Sha treatment, the patient's back should be oiled and warmed using classic manual massage. The plate massage is performed by quickly and energetically rubbing the skin on the back. The treatment should be carried out considering the directions of the flow of Qi energy along the meridians to stimulate its flow and open the energy channels. Attention! Gua Sha treatments should only be performed by professional therapists.
