A bit of history...
It grows in cooler regions of the world, most often from warm spring days to November. Oyster mushroom hats resemble larger oysters - hence its name. In English it is called oyster mushroom. Oyster mushroom has been known for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine, where it is used to solve many health problems and is known from Sung Dynasty fairy tales as "the mushroom of flower heaven".
